The goal of Department of Emergency Medicine is to provide the highest quality of emergency medical care to our patients within the setting of advanced research, training and education. The main focus of research and clinical activities of the department is on cardiopulmonary resuscitation such as basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, and advanced trauma life support. The department is also a pioneer in the development of novel solutions to improve several critical and interesting clinical areas including toxicology, emergency medical service system, environmental medicine, disaster medicine and critical care medicine. Through these activities the members of the department are proud to be able to provide cutting edge emergency care in this community.
