The diseases of ear, nose and throat have been managed in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery since 1925. Specialized treatment for otitis media, dizziness, facial nerve palsy, etc. is performed. Patients with congenital or acquired hearing impairment are greatly helped with hearing aids and cochlear implantation. There are also many diseases in nasal cavity, such as allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal cavity tumor, etc. We usually treat the diseases via endoscopy. The diseases in oral cavity, pharynx and larynx and benign and malignant neoplasms in head and neck are dealt with through medical and surgical treatments.
