The Department of Rheumatology at the Chonnam National University Hospital has qualified rheumatologists who are dedicated to providing a complete, state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for patients affected by diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, fibromyalgia, systemic sclerosis, Sjogren's syndrome, inflammatory myopathy, Behcet's disease and vasculitis. We are involved not only in treatment but also has been immersed early in basic and clinical research of rheumatic disease, having cooperated with domestic and foreign distinguished hospitals. Through a balance of basic and clinical research, we have continued to investigate the pathogenesis of rheumatic diseases, with the aim of developing new treatments. We will provide excellent medical care for patients with rheumatic diseases.
