The center for joint disease is performing special surgeries for joint diseases and managing discriminative clinics and performing operation with top-notched technologies like Robotic-assisted surgery(Robodoc), and navigation system, for hip and knee joint arthroplastic surgery, and ligament reconstruction etc. In the field of the hip joint, minimally invasive surgery (MIS)-2-incision THA and femoral head preserving procedures (muscle pedicle bone graft, a new transtrochanteric rotational osteotomy, etc) are performed and many patients are satisfied with the procedure very well.
Internationally, this center is a designated international Asia-Pacific joint replacement training center (by B. Braun), and it is also a designated international Asia-pacific adult hip surgery training center (by Zimmer). Annually more than 50 foreign doctors visit our center to experience and learn top class surgery and orthopedic management. This international reputation has brought increased number of domestic and international patients every year, and we already have diverse experience and perfectly set up programs for foreign patients.
