Department of Dermatology in Chonnam National University Hospital has been providing medical services of dermatology in general medicine with a long history. After expanding Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital in 2004, about 50,000 outpatients and 2,000 inpatients visit our clinic every year. As a referral center, we perform high quality treatment of the most difficult intractable dermatologic diseases and skin cancers. We provide an accurate diagnosis and treatment based on the clinicopathologic and laboratory findings. In addition, we have published numerous papers in world’s top-ranked journals and continue our effort to investigate the new dermatological findings. The department of dermatology not only offer medical care of the common skin disease such as urticaria, eczema, fungal disease, but also provide operation of skin cancer or benign tumors, laser treatment of various pigmented disease. We have many medical devices for the treatment of various skin diseases. Thus we take charge of many different medical care to enhance the quality of life.
