The Department of Radiology at the Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital offers a wide variety of diagnostic radiology examinations and interventional procedures, each providing state-of-the art technology ranging from computed radiography to dual source multi detector CT and 3 Tesla MRI. A variety of sophisticated and advanced image-guided treatment procedures, such as radiofrequency ablation of tumors, stent-graft placement in aortic aneurysm, and contemporary neuro-interventional services are also available. The department provides a full complement of tertiary care radiologic services, including Neuroradiology, Chest radiology, Abdominal radiology, Genitourinary radiology, Musculoskeletal radiology, Pediatric radiology, Breast radiology, and Cardiovascular and interventional radiology. We also perform both basic and clinical research with specialization in the field of radiological sciences.
