Hematologic Malignancy Clinic

Hematologic Malignancy Clinic is a department for treatment of blood-related diseases such as acute/chronic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, multiple myeloma, malignant lymphoma, aplastic anemia, immune thrombocytopenia and numerous types of anemia. It provides the best treatment for the patient by the specialists including 7 professors from the Department of Hematology through the cooperative treatment with the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Pathology, Radiology, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine. In addition, it is equipped with a specialized clinic, day clinic and inpatient clinic and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Center for chemotherapy and treatment of hematologic patients. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is a proactive treatment approach for full recovery of blood-related diseases through autologous stem cell transplant and umbilicus blood transplant besides allogeneic transplantation between family members and between unrelated people, and the Hematologic Malignancy Clinic at CNUHH is actively conducting studies on finding out the causes and new treatments for hematologic malignant diseases, for more than the diagnosis and treatment of a patient.
